civic vintage
collaborative project between myself and fellow designers, alex evans and felicia koloc.
our company is a clothing store that sells recycled and vintage products. the intent is to create a store that sells things that have already been used, but are of a higher quality than simply going to goodwill or salvation army. also, we’re hoping this will inspire people to create their own clothes and sell them to the store, who will brand them with the company’s logo/tags and sell them to other people. we’re hoping the store will have a creative edge, so a consumer is not just shopping there, but experiencing as well. we intend to keep things as green as possible, from building materials to bags to the products themselves. this is important, since we are trying to inspire people to not only think outside the box per their clothing/accessories, but also to understand how their choices effect the world around them. also, we intend to make our products more affordable than our competitors; since they will not be made on a bulk level, not only will you be buying a quality piece of clothing for a decent price, but it is also unique to your tastes.
the following is our process book and images from the store display we created.
